UPDATE ON MASJED POLICY REGARDING COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS

Governor Kate Brown Announced Oregon to Reopen No Later than Wednesday, June 30th. At Masjed As-Saber, Mask restrictions and social distancing are lifted in concert with the governor announcement. Prayers inside the masjed will not require social distancing or masks starting June 30th. If some people would like to continue wearing the masks, they are free to do so. We continue to encourage people to bring their own prayer rugs.

We still encourage people to continue the usage of sanitizers and taking precautions to reduce the probability of infections. All people who feel sick should stay home until recovery before coming back to the Masjed.

Make duaa that Allah rid this world from this pandemic and give our community back the House of Allah to worship with peach and tranquility.

("6) O you who have believe, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful".Hujurat, 6

To those who are creating and spreading rumors they have not witnessed and lack concrete evidence: fear Allah! You can spread untruths out of spite, but make no mistake: Allah knows and you will report to him alone.

To those who are listening to such people bashing your brothers and sisters, remember the ayah above and do not entertain such rumors.
